YPD Karenland (Youth for Peace and Development Karenland) is a community-based organization that empowers Karen youth through education, vocational training, leadership development, and humanitarian support.
Our mission is to help young people build skills, develop confidence, and become leaders who can support peace, development, and positive change in their communities.
YPD Karenland operates mainly in Pa Lu, Karen State, and collaborates with youth and communities across Karen areas and the border region.
We serve youth, migrant workers, internally displaced families (IDPs), and local communities in Karenland and surrounding areas.
We offer a variety of programs including nurse aide training, youth development training, agriculture, sewing, weaving, auto repair, safe migration, leadership workshops, and more.
